Can 56 Year Old Agents Use Paperless Pipeline?

Here’s what a Michigan office had to say about Paperless Pipeline at around 40 days into using it: “The freedom of Paperless Pipeline is incredible!”

My average agents age is 56, so I was a little nervous going into this…”

“I was worried it would be more work for the staff, but they’ve done really well. My most mature senior staff has been with me for 25 years, and she does not embrace change. She’s even starting to come around and use it.”

“But Dane, at 40 days in I didn’t think we’d be as far along as we are. My goal was to eliminate the filing cabinet at 90 days. And I think we may be able to do it 2 weeks earlier, which is rare to
ever meet a goal like this on time.  I’m very happy with the program…

The day after training, 20 agents started sending documents in right away. This shocked me, I had planned to just demo it, but 50% of the agents wanted to start using it the same day.”

“We use the standard Sharp model  formain scanner for the office, and bought 2 scan snaps, 1 for each secretarial station.

I bought dual monitors for my staff, and this has helped a ton”

I like efficiency, and this makes us MUCH SMOOTHER.

You know, the hole process of turning in paperwork, reviewing paperwork, and letting agents know what is missing takes time…Paperless Pipeline is greasing the wheels there.

I’m thinking I should be able to save an hour or two per week of MY time. Plus I can do this from anywhere. I don’t have to sit couped up in an office. I can knock out 4 or 5 files in 15 minutes from my kitchen counter. I value my time at $90 / hour so that’s $360 in time per hour saved per month!

It’s nice to work “on the business” instead of “inside” for a change 🙂

I used to have a 3rd party scanning service that costs more than Paperless Pipeline alone, and I’ve been able to cancel that.

Being able to download all of my files monthly helps me feel safe about using the system

I also run a title company (which doubles the value of an agent to me). We used to do this crazy thing where we’d can everything in and burn a CD. And for our agents they’d have to print all the documents out, so we could send them to be scanned, re-scanned, and put into a CD. It was the stupidest thing in the world, but we had not other way to do it.

And now we’ve given the title company an email address. So the title company can email the documents into paperlesspipeline.

Now the agent just leaves the closing table with a check to bring back to the office!

The freedom of Paperless Pipeline is incredible!”
